How do I crossfade from one sound to another? - This was so common, there is a demonstration file available for download to illustrate. In essence, you start sound #1, add an action cue to start it fading, that cue advances to the cue that starts the second sound with a fade in.

I bought the program a while ago, got my registration key, and now I want to test out some videos, but it won't let me? - Just send an email to support@baxeldata.com and explain the situation. A trial key will be sent to you.

There are other sounds happening as  I click and use the program. It is a good idea to set the sound scheme to 'No Sounds' from the Control Panel to avoid extra sounds.

I've got three sounds running all at once. I want to pause them all at once, then start them all up again later? - This requires several cue lines. Let's say the playing cues are #3, #5, and #6. Action cues should be added for each of those to Pause them. Set Advance to be at start and select Auto Play for all but the first. To resume them playing, add another 3 cues with the action to resume in a similar fashion.

I need a simple sound file editor so I can trim and customize my sounds. Suggestions? - Audacity is a very good free editor. There is also a good disclosure about Vista and its "features" on that web site.

I'm having trouble getting videos to play or when they do it takes 100% of the CPU. - This could be a tough one. There are so many codecs, drivers, and programs that interact that a single answer here is impossible. Some diagnostic tools that will help are GSpot, Deccheck, and Sherlock. Please check Google for the latest locations. I have had good luck with Dvdxpack from Corel as a decoder. For .mov files, the CoreAVC decoder is good.

I have a cue playing, but when I advance to the next one, it stops. - Please remember that going from a 'Normal' cue to another 'Normal', or from a 'Background' to another 'Background' will stop the playing cue. Alternate the types, or use 'Independent' cues.

I want a stereo sound to just go to the Rear speakers, but it still comes out of all of them. - This is likely caused by your sound card settings. Sound cards will often install a control program that allows you to simulate 'surround' sound from stereo sources. That must be disabled to get sound only out of the Cue Player selected speaker set.
